Hi there, movie fans. Did you feel that great disturbance in the force this week? No, not the release of the Rogue One trailer, but the shutting down of Torrentz! The week of August 12, 2016 was a very different one for movie downloading, but everything kept on chugging along with some interesting flicks making their way to p2p.
The top movie of the week was absolutely shockingly surprisingly, ‘wait is going on here’ a what now? Cell, with the one and only Sam Jackson, has a ZERO rating on Rotten Tomatoes. Which I don’t doubt as possible given the source material (go to hell, Stephen King …unless you’ll like it there…), but you folks out there still download it like CRAZY! I have to ask, and comment below, is it bad like Snakes on a Plane is bad?
With the big shift in p2p since Torrentz shut down, there are many new movies on the list that haven’t been on before. Mechanic: Resurrection, the sequel to the first Jason Statham movie of the same name will no doubt be an adrenaline filled smash up. I’ve watched many of his movies and enjoyed each one. I will say that I enjoyed Parker the most. For the Jennifer Lopez stripping scene, but who could blame me? Electra Woman and Dyna Girl looks like a movie I will have to see at some point, superhero comedy can work. Go read or watch The Tick some day. Last to mention as special is Bad Moms. Sorry, but anything Mila Kunis does is a must watch. Even though she’s a complete bitch for breaking Mark Wahlberg‘s heart. Hm? Ted 2 was a movie and not a documentary? …oh.
The two movies that you guys can’t seem to get enough of is The Jungle Book, and the rom-com Me Before You. The first is critically acclaimed, the second is privately acclaimed for how well it lets dates end. In sex. Making perhaps its last appearance on the list is X-Men: Apocalypse. I wish I had the time to see this in theatres a second and third time, bummer. I thought it was great fun, and I’m a huge and long-time comic book nerd. I know who The Beyonder is and have read 400+ issues of The Amazing Spider-Man. #GeekLevelMaxiumum It’s a legit comic book movie in my eyes.
I build this list every week as an informational tool for you to see what’s happening in the world of p2p. I don’t distribute or promote the downloading of any copyrighted movies personally.
