Superheroes, horror, action, drama, comedy, and Tom Hanks with an epic moustache: All that, and more, in this week’s most downloaded movie list for September 16, 2016!
At the top of the list this week you’ll see Suicide Squad. This is a version which is a bit incomplete and about a 6/10 in terms of video and audio quality. Go see it in theatres, it’s a good time. I’ve been to see it twice. The other movie at the top, The Good Neighbor, is another one with a bad version floating around. It did, after all, just release in theatres today! But we’re not done yet with released-today-and-torrented copies floating around, 31, the Rob Zombie directed horror film, was also just released today. You can find better versions of it though because it released on Amazon Prime.
If you’re into epic moustaches, Tom Hanks has crafted one for the ages in Sully. All jokes aside, this is one of those stories that deserves to be told. The pilot in question, Chesly Sullenberger, was the type of good man that we need to see more of. The film is getting great reviews, so see it in theatres first. Speaking of movies getting good reviews, Hunt for the Wilderpeople is consistently getting 9/10 or better on most movie review sites. It stars Sam Neill who, let’s be honest, hasn’t had a hit at the movies since Jurassic Park III. See it in theatres to support this indie film.
Finishing off the list this week we have Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates. I haven’t seen it yet, but Zac Efron was great in Neighbors …and terrible in Neighbors 2. Any feedback on whether this one is worth watching? Comment below! Jason Bourne and X-Men: Apocalypse are still action-ing it up. I watched X-Men for a second time over the weekend and I liked it at home after really enjoying it in theatres. It translates. At the bottom of the list is For the Love of Spock. I said this last week and I’ll say it again: Please support this movie. If you downloaded it go buy a shirt from the website or something. These types of movies never get made anymore.
